Vidalia: FREE PARENTING CONFERENCE

On Thursday, March 6th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Paul Anderson Ministries will host a FREE PARENTING CONFERENCE in the Fellowship Auditorium at First Baptist Church, Vidalia. The goal of the conference is to help parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, and youth workers better understand the challenges that children and teens face in today's culture and how they can discover life’s purpose.

Conference attendees’ questions will be answered in a Q&A session. The discussions and Q&A will be led by Paul Anderson Youth Home (PAYH) staff members: Glenda Anderson, Co-Founder and President; and Drew Read, COO; and Dean Sikes of Dean Sikes Ministry. CHILDCARE (AGES 10 AND UNDER) WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER BY 9:00 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5th. Because space is limited, please register online at www.payh.org or call 800-559-7294 or 912-537-7237.

Since the Paul Anderson Youth Home was established in 1961, more than 1,000 young men and their families who were in crisis and had no where else to turn have found hope for a better future. Through generations of working with youth, PAYH staff members have dealt with a broad spectrum of issues, studied the changes in the culture and youth, and become parenting “experts.” Valuable insight and understanding from the staff’s 250+ years of cumulative service will be imparted during the conference.

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for participants to view materials at booths that will be manned by staff from the Paul Anderson Youth Home (www.payh.org or 800-559-7294), Dean Sikes’ Ministry (www.deansikes.net ), Impact 360 (www.impact360.net ), and WinShape Retreat (www.winshape.org/marriage or 877-977-3873). The conference will conclude at 8:30 p.m., and the booths will be open until 9:00 p.m.

From 1993 to date, Dean Sikes has spoken in eight nations, at more than 1,200 events, to more than 1.2 million people. His message of hope has taught young and old how to discover and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

WinShape Marriage Retreat in Rome, Georgia is unique in its approach to marriage ministry. Instead of using an educational model of lectures and books, WinShape Marriage assists couples in maintaining and growing their relationships through prayer, worship, group discussions, and couple mentoring.

Impact 360 in Pine Mountain, Georgia equips the emerging generation to live Christ-focused lives, to be grounded in a Biblical Christian worldview, and to impact culture in the marketplace. To accomplish this, Impact 360 helps 18-20 year olds deepen their understanding of God’s truth and how the Christian worldview provides answers to the challenges they will face.
Those who attend the March 6th conference can expect to be challenged, motivated, and walk away with sound advice, practical parenting tips, and free resources. REGISTER TODAY at www.payh.org or call 800-559-7294 or 912-537-7237.
